Brands For Good Awards 2026

Founded in 2001, the Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB) began as a vision among a group of parents to provide a high-quality, holistic education for their children in Thailand. From its modest origins at the Ekkamai campus, SISB has grown into a prestigious network of six campuses, including its flagship Pracha Uthit site. It stands as a pioneer in the region, being the first international school to successfully list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 2018.
SISB distinguishes itself through a rigorous trilingual programme, where students achieve fluency in English, Chinese, and Thai. The curriculum is a sophisticated blend of the world-renowned Singaporean system—particularly noted for its strength in Mathematics and Science—and the British and International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks. This multi-layered approach ensures that students are prepared for the complexities of a globalised world.
“We have a Singapore brand and our leaders here have the Asian mindset. I think the culture itself is very close with the Chinese. That's why we're one of the biggest beneficiaries from these people coming into Thailand.”
Guided by the motto "Success Inspires Success," SISB envisions a future where every student aspires to be a Scholar, a Leader, and a Global Citizen. The school remains dedicated to being a world-class institution that provides a holistic education to make the world a better place.

www.sisb.ac.thMr. Kelvin Koh, the Co-founder and CEO of SISB Public Company Limited, is a Singaporean entrepreneur who brought his values of perseverance and responsibility to Thailand in 1992. Originally trained in mechanical engineering, Koh successfully established a business in the telecommunications sector before an investment in his children's education led him to take the helm of SISB in 2007. He was instrumental in the school's transition to a publicly listed entity, believing that a profit-driven model in education allows for continuous reinvestment in facilities and staff. His leadership is defined by the belief that education is a 'sacred business,' requiring absolute accountability to the young lives it shapes.
