Brands For Good Awards 2026

Raffles Christian School (RCS) Kebon Jeruk stands as a distinguished pillar of international education in Jakarta, part of the broader Raffles Christian Group of Schools. Its foundation is rooted in a vision of excellence established by the late Mr. William Soeryadjaya, a renowned entrepreneur and founder of the Astra Group, and Mr. Radius Prawiro, the former Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. Working in consultation with the Singapore Teachers’ Union, these founders aimed to create an institution that bridges world-class academic standards with a transformative Christian learning environment.
The Kebon Jeruk campus carries a rich heritage, having been integrated into the Raffles Group in October 2010. This acquisition built upon the legacy of the former PSB Singapore Schools, which dates back to 1964. Today, the school serves a diverse student body from Pre-Primary to Junior College, providing a seamless educational pathway through the Cambridge International curriculum.
The school’s mission is centered on providing a well-rounded international education that nurtures 'Rafflesians' to become disciplined, responsible, and God-fearing individuals. By prioritizing critical thinking and character building, RCS Kebon Jeruk prepares scholars with the necessary skills to thrive as successful global citizens. The institution’s educational philosophy is guided by its core 'CHRIST' values: Compassion, Honesty, Reverence, Involvement, Service, and Tenacity.
"I believe that every learner carries unique gifts and potential, and our calling is to nurture Champions in Mind and Leaders with Heart—because we truly believe in every child."
RCS Kebon Jeruk is consistently recognized for its academic achievements, including numerous 'Outstanding Cambridge Learners Awards.' The school maintains a strong partnership with parents and the community to ensure students flourish in an environment that encourages curiosity and builds confidence. Through scholarship programs like the William Soeryadjaya Academic Excellence Award, the school incentivizes high performance and leadership among its cohort.
The school envisions being a 'world-class, futuristic, and Christian learning community' that continues to produce influential leaders of sterling character. By fostering an atmosphere where learning is alive and faith is nurtured, Raffles Christian School Kebon Jeruk remains dedicated to its goal of shaping students who will live meaningfully and serve faithfully in an interconnected world.
