Brands For Good Awards 2026

Extraordinary People Limited (EPL) was founded in July 2017 to support individuals with special needs and their families through a heart-led, community-driven approach. As a registered charity and Institution of Public Character (IPC), EPL focuses on bridging critical gaps in the disability support landscape, particularly for youth transitioning out of formal special education at age 18. Our work is centred on building meaningful pathways across life stages, from early development to adulthood. We focus on strengthening skills, fostering independence, and enabling active participation in the community.
This philosophy guides everything we do, across programmes such as:
Junior Campus
Play-based learning for children aged 7 and above, building confidence and social skills in a supportive environment.
Extraordinary Campus
A structured vocational and life-skills programme for youth and young adults, designed to support independence and readiness for employment.
Creative Lab & Performing Arts
Platforms for creative expression through visual and performing arts, nurturing talent while building confidence, discipline, and collaboration.
Integrated Support
Multidisciplinary support tailored to the developmental needs of each individual, strengthening both capability and everyday functioning.
“We work alongside each individual at their own pace and in their own way. There is no ‘ordinary’ path, only potential waiting to be realised.”
Today, EPL supports a growing community of individuals and families across Singapore, creating opportunities for persons with special needs to participate meaningfully alongside the wider community.
EPL’s performing arts platform provides inclusive opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage in music, movement, and creative expression. Through these experiences, participants build confidence and develop through shared artistic expression.
EPL also runs its Creative Lab programme under the Extra•Ordinary Campus offering, where participants explore diverse forms of visual art within a structured and supportive environment. Through a layered curriculum that progressively builds skills level by level, beneficiaries are guided from foundational artistic development towards more advanced and enterprise-focused capabilities. At its highest levels, participants have opportunities to create marketable works that can be exhibited and sold, supporting income generation while fostering greater confidence, purpose, and increased independence.
Beyond the arts, EPL’s Inclusive Hospitality Training Academy (IHTA) is a collaborative effort that creates structured, real-world learning opportunities for beneficiaries. Recognising that many persons with disabilities do well with clear, guided, and step-by-step learning, the programme focuses on hospitality as an industry that offers meaningful structure, routine, and practical job pathways. Through IHTA, beneficiaries build confidence, develop valuable skills, and experience a strong sense of achievement as they grow towards greater independence and participation in the wider community.
EPL envisions a Singapore where persons with disabilities are supported across life stages and empowered to contribute meaningfully to society.
Moving forward, EPL is committed to deepening programme impact, strengthening industry and community partnerships, and creating more inclusive pathways into adulthood through intentional design. By championing universal design and gentle inclusion, EPL seeks to ensure that persons with disabilities are considered from the planning stage onward — building communities, workplaces, and opportunities where inclusion is embedded naturally, with dignity, purpose, and long-term growth.
