EHA Clinic is a Singapore-based healthcare provider founded by Dr Elias Tam, built around a single organising principle: clinical rigour delivered with genuine care, in a way that strengthens the communities and environment the clinic operates within.
The clinic has two locations that together serve very different patient communities while maintaining one clinical standard. EHA Clinic @ Jurong has been a heartland presence for 27 years, providing accessible and affordable general healthcare to generations of residents, including family medicine, chronic disease management, vaccinations, and preventive care. EHA Clinic @ Shaw Centre has served patients for 15 years, focused on medical aesthetic care including skin, hair, and condition-specific treatments. The two clinics are deliberately different in tone, audience, and clinical scope, but consistent in their assessment discipline and patient-first standard.
To date, EHA Clinic has served more than 100,000 patients, with current annual volumes of approximately 13,000 patients and an average of 1,200 patient visits per month. More than 80% of patients return, and more than 80% of new patients arrive through referral from existing patients. The clinic has navigated multiple financial challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, sustained primarily by long-term patient relationships and word-of-mouth referrals, with paid acquisition complementing rather than driving the business.
EHA's public-facing tagline, "Look Good, Feel Great," captures a commitment that goes beyond appearance: the clinic exists to support emotional wellbeing, community health, and individual confidence. Internally, the same principle guides clinical decisions, team conduct, procurement choices, and environmental practice. That is what has kept the clinic credible to its patients, peers, and the wider community over decades.

www.ehaclinic.sgEHA Clinic's leadership is set by its Medical Director, whose work and standards define the tone for the entire team.
Dr Elias Tam, Medical Director. Dr Tam founded EHA Clinic and has practised medicine for more than 30 years, with more than 20 years specialising in aesthetic medicine. He holds an MBBS from the National University of Singapore, a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine, and a Diploma in Dermatology from the University of Wales. He serves as a Clinical Lecturer at University College London's Master of Surgery in Aesthetic Medicine programme, and as World President-Elect of the International College of Surgeons. He organised the ICS World Congress in Singapore in December 2025.
In 2010, Dr Tam founded the MyFace Cadaveric Workshop, through which he has trained more than 1,000 doctors from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, and Australia, raising patient safety standards across the region.
His commitment to public service is long-standing. He served as a Medical Officer in both the Singapore Armed Forces and the Singapore Civil Defence Force, retiring with the rank of Major following his final appointment as a Medical Platoon Commander. He has contributed to grassroots development as a member of the Citizens' Consultative Committee, and has been a volunteer with the Yellow Ribbon Project for more than 15 years, supporting the reintegration of ex-offenders through tattoo removal programmes. He is also a long-standing supporter of Pink Ribbon initiatives, contributing to breast cancer awareness and women's health advocacy.
Leadership philosophy. Dr Tam holds himself to the same standards he asks of every team member: the formal assessment protocol precedes every treatment recommendation, commercial incentives never override clinical judgement, and team members are empowered to recommend "no treatment" when that is the right answer for the patient. Leadership is exercised through teaching, open-door escalation, and personal example, not delegation. That consistency, sustained over decades, is what has built the clinic's trust at scale.

"Take good care of the patients, the rest will take care of itself."
