Bilimtech was founded in 2020 by Gulzire Minbaeva with a singular vision: to revolutionize the educational landscape of Kyrgyzstan by providing world-class STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Born out of a commitment to social impact, the organization serves as a catalyst for young minds, equipping them with the critical thinking and technical skills required to thrive in the 21st-century global economy.

The Founding Story and Mission

The journey began when founder Gulzire Minbaeva, a specialist in applied mathematics and a TechWomen alumna, recognized the profound gap between local educational resources and international standards. Inspired by her experience as a Khan Academy language advocate and her exposure to Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem, she established Bilimtech to democratize high-quality education. The company’s mission is to empower the next generation of Kyrgyz innovators by making advanced mathematics and technology training accessible to all.

Key Achievements and Impact

Since its inception, Bilimtech has transformed from a local initiative into a premier educational hub. Key milestones include:

• Training hundreds of students who have gone on to win gold, silver, and bronze medals at prestigious international competitions, including the American Math Olympiad (AMO) and the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO).
• Developing a specialized, adaptive curriculum designed by Olympiad champions that helps students gain admission to top-tier international universities.
• Establishing a robust community of educators and volunteers dedicated to localizing global educational content for Kyrgyz-speaking students.
• Successfully scaling operations to a team of 30 professionals, serving as a model for sustainable social entrepreneurship in the region.
